Southwest Alaska has many gems when it comes to rivers to
fish. A favorite is the
Goodnews river.
This trip offers high quality wilderness on a river with
exceptional salmon fishing in particular for those interested in King Salmon and
Silver salmon angling. Rainbow trout average 15-24 inches with larger
fish available too as well as
abundant arctic char & grayling too. The Goodnews River offers
exceptional scenery, wildlife is plentiful and the best rainbow trout,
silver salmon and dolly varden/char fishing is in late summer. If you
are looking to tackle kings salmon we have several trips that will fit the
bill from early July to Late July and early August when you can attempt a
salmon slam on Alaska's Goodnews river!

For
almost two decades
Alaska Rainbow Adventures
has been offering week long float trips on the Togiak river by permit
from the US Fish and Wildlife Service. There are only two permits
allowed to operate floats on this extremely scenic waterway in western
Alaska. The fishing is some of the best in the world for king and
silver salmon, Arctic Char, Dolly Varden, Grayling and Trophy Rainbows
are plentiful as well.
